Designed by Bill Stumpf and Jeff Weber with a team of physicians and biomechanical researchers, Embody was built around a single question: how does the body actually move, and breathe, and change position through a working day. Its Pixelated Support backrest and adaptive seat respond to your micro-movements in real time, rather than holding you in one fixed posture. What makes the Embody the Embody
Pixelated Support backrest
The backrest is made up of individual elements that flex independently, distributing your weight and adjusting to your body’s micro-movements — instead of one solid panel holding a single shape.
Backfit adjustment
A dedicated dial aligns the backrest with the natural curve of your spine, positioning support at your sacrum rather than relying on generic backrest shape.
Four-layer adaptive seat
Elastic suspension over support coils lets the seat respond to your weight and position in real time, spreading pressure evenly rather than concentrating it under the sit bones.
Recline with tension control
A tilt mechanism with adjustable back-stop and recline tension, so the chair moves with you through the day rather than staying locked in one position.
4D adjustable arms
Height, width, pivot and depth adjustment, so the arms can be set to support the forearm at typing height or moved out of the way entirely.
