The OrthoMouse is a highly customisable mouse, designed so that it supports the hand and fingers evenly while they adopt a relaxed position. The index and middle fingers rest on the two buttons. Clicking occurs with a minimum horizontal displacement within these fingers. The thumb remains in “opposition” to the other fingers. It..
Description
OrthoMouse
A mouse designed by an orthopaedic surgeon around the resting anatomy of the hand — the fingers land where they’d naturally fall, not where a standard mouse shell forces them.
6 configurations, one mouse
OrthoMouse ships with 3 prolongers to adjust the overall size, and 2 upper adaptors to fine-tune where the thumb and forefinger land — 6 combinations in total, so the fit is built around your hand rather than a single fixed shell size.
It’s a genuinely different approach to sizing than a simple Small/Medium/Large split — more setup up front, but a closer fit once it’s dialled in.
The thumb does the scrolling
Index and middle fingers rest on the two main click buttons, with minimal horizontal movement needed to click. The thumb stays in opposition to the fingers — much like a natural writing grip — and handles scrolling: up to scroll up, down to scroll down, and a press on the middle for a scroll click.
That’s 3 of the mouse’s 5 buttons living on the thumb alone, which keeps the index and middle fingers doing less repetitive work overall.
Precision movement, minimum travel
An anti-skid base texture and a well-placed optical sensor mean the mouse stays put under the hand rather than sliding, so small, controlled movements translate to accurate cursor tracking without needing to reposition your grip.
Lighter clicks, less repetitive load
The click buttons use low-resistance switches, so each click takes less force than a standard mouse — a small difference per click that adds up over a full day of repetitive use.

Common questions
What are the 6 configurations for?
OrthoMouse includes 3 prolongers (adjusting the overall size of the mouse) and 2 upper adaptors (adjusting where the thumb and forefinger sit). Mixing and matching these gives 6 total fit combinations, so you can tune the mouse to your hand rather than picking from a fixed size range.
Is there a left-hand or wireless version?
This listing is right hand, wired only. Ask us if you’re after a different configuration and we can check current availability.
How does the scrolling work?
The thumb controls scrolling — push up to scroll up, down to scroll down, and press the middle of the thumb button for a scroll click. Index and middle fingers stay on the two main click buttons.
Does it need any special software?
No — it’s plug and play over USB, compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux, with no drivers required.
What’s the warranty?
OrthoMouse is covered by a 2 year warranty.
